querkraft success at the Iconic Awards in Germany
Vienna, 17 July 2013. In spring, the German Design Council offered an invitation for entries for the first Iconic Awards competition, which is intended to honour the interplay between international architecture and design. The Viennese architectural practice “querkraft” submitted the Museum Liaunig project, which was completed in 2008 and shortly afterwards, in December 2012, became a listed building. The sculptural project of the team from Vienna then proceeded to win the “Architecture/Public” category.
