Special Exhibition July-August 2016 ("Old Friends: Hans Staudacher")

The exhibition "Hans Staudacher" is accompanied by a catalogue with 64 pages, along with numerous illustrations
and text contributions by Peter Baum. Hans Staudacher holds a unique position in the art of painting after 1945 with his abstract works of Lyrical Art Informel. The artist, having lived in Vienna since 1950, is a master in all techniques - painting,  graphic arts, collage, prints - and aims at continuous activation of the image narrative.

Main exhibition 2015 ("Realities")

A considerable number of the exhibits in the "WIRKLICHKEITEN" show curated by Hans-Peter Wipplinger are not only on public display for the first time, but are also making their debut in print. A richly illustrated accompanying publication with content that is as profound as it is entertaining and around 350 colour photos, offers an invitation to in-depth perusal. Apart from articles by Silvie Aigner, Brigitte Borchhardt-Birbaumer, Daniela Gregori, Susanne Längle, Rainer Metzger, Thomas Mießgang, Florian Steininger and Hans-Peter Wipplinger, the catalogue also contains historical texts by Otto Breicha and Alfred Schmeller as well as contributions from literary companions of the "WIRKLICHKEITEN" such as Peter Handke, Elfriede Jelinek and Friederike Mayröcker, and last but by no means least, from the artists themselves.

The 2016 exhibition contains about 180 works from 64 artists consisting of newly acquired and previously unseen paintings, sculptures, object art and graphics. The exhibition, which focuses of recent art history and current, contemporary Austrian art, manifests itself as an experience that is both pleasurable and lasting.
